ABOUT TIA

At a young age, Tia had no idea how a move from her childhood home in New Jersey to South Florida would completely reshape her life. South Florida’s cultural melting pot gave her unique exposure to people from around the world.   Being an only child, she grew up with an understanding of responsibility, and respect for others. Her father made sure to arm her with an independent inner strength. Her academic talents and thirst for knowledge led her to enroll at Florida State University where she graduated with honors earning a degree in Criminology. Shortly thereafter she felt a calling to continue her education by getting her Master’s degree from New York Inst of Technology. Upon returning to South Florida, she found her true passion, helping others.

She began working as a Social Worker for the State of Florida, helping foster children. Her skill and passion were quickly recognized as she rose up the ranks to staff manager. Her passion was so strong, she ended up adopting one of her 13-year-old clients, as a single mom!

Fast forward, she finds herself relocated to Georgia, married and a mother of 3 boys that she homeschools. She is determined to teach them her faith and the character traits that have served her so well. Her desire to help others has drawn her into the real estate world. With her drive to do things the right way, a caring spirit, and her integrity has made her the perfect asset to Gold Rush Realty.
